About

Raymond Cook, Freelance Game Developer

Hello there. My name is Raymond Cook, and I go by the handle LunarRaid. I'm a freelance game developer who specializes primarily in AS3 and the Pushbutton Engine, and the proud creator of IsoKit, an up and coming multiplayer isometric social game platform built on top of the PushButton Engine. Making games has been a hobby of mine since 1999, and I've dabbled in a variety of programming languages since.

I pride myself on frequently taking on responsibilities outside of my comfort zone. I am a firm believer that just because I don't know how to do something now doesn't mean I am incapable of completing the task. I learn and adapt quickly, delivering high-quality work in a variety of fields. I spend the majority of my time learning new ways to do things, or new skills I do not yet possess. It is my desire to grow, adapt, and meet new challenges with determination and optimism.

My experience includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

  • Flash / Flex Development
  • Virtual World Development
  • Player.IO Multiplayer Server Development
  • Casual Multiplayer Online Game Development
  • HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Lua Scripting
  • iOS Development using Objective C and Cocos2D
  • iOS Development using Adobe AIR

I am also the proud creator of IsoKit, an up and coming multiplayer isometric social game platform built on top of the PushButton Engine. Click here to read more about this exciting project.

I am currently available for contract work to interested parties. Feel free to contact me for rates and quotes.
